Because of a rare disease, I am unable to go to church. I am very thankful to the Lord for the internet and that my church is on the internet. So I can watch a whole service as though I am there. Click here to see it. This disease also limits my serving God.
I have been reading Our Daily Bread devotionals for more than forty years. I truly appreciate what I have learned over the years. Today’s devotional reading (December 11, 2016) really touched me. Even when you are limited, you can always serve God with your prayers. That is the title of the devotion. You can read it here. It has the title of “Serving God with Our Prayers.” I cannot say it any better.
Thank you Lord for all you have done for me! I can never praise you enough for all the ways you have guided me through these years. Lord, these last few years have not been easy, but knowing you are there beside me and guiding me in all the things that you do, makes it all so much easier. I cannot forget what you have done and pray I will never forget them! Today I pray that anyone who reads this post will go and read the devotional and see how they can serve you in prayer. You have been emphasizing this to me this weekend, I pray I may be better than I have been. Thank you Lord for your forgiveness and most of all you love! Amen.
